The Dock Inn - Penzance

We stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel was great, had perfect location near the ferry terminal. The breakfast was savoury with view of St Michael's mount, with fabulous food. Location: the venue was not far from other beaches, the top rated restaurants and shops and Penlee Art gallery.

All good - we enjoyed this authentic hotel - the food was splendid and the staff were amicable and pleasant.

Fantastic location, cozy atmosphere.

The room was spacious and well-furnished, complete with a large en-suite bathroom and a fridge. Breakfast served in the room was good, and the staff were very cute. Proximity to the ferry and promenade made it a convenient location for exploring. The lively bar atmosphere on Friday evenings can be quite noisy, and the lack of food service in the bar limits options for late-night meals.

Amazing anniversary stay!

We stayed here for one night to celebrate our 43rd anniversary, and wow, what a treat! The giant bed was super comfy, and the homemade breakfast served in our room had the best view. The staff were friendly and made the surprise champagne extra special. Just wish the parking was easier. It was a bit tricky finding a spot.

Excellent service with a good room experience, with a spacious layout that accommodated a table and chairs for breakfast overlooking the view. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the room was a highlight, though I was unwell and couldn't enjoy it fully. Nonetheless, the food quality was so great, with generous portions. The overall hospitality.

Great stay with friendly vibes!

Had a fab weekend here! The place has a cool pub feel, and everyone was super cute. Our meals were really great, especially the fresh fish dishes. Location was spot on, just a short stroll to town. But be prepared, the car park's kinda small, could be tricky at busier times.

Excellent hotel with great amenities like free wi-fi, in-room breakfast, and a cozy bar lounge. I remember during my first stay, the staff kindly provided me with a bottle of water at night. I'm coming back for a new year!

I loved the comfy mattress and the tasty breakfast brought to my room with lovely extras like fresh fruit! Everything was spotlessly clean and I would return without hesitation.

Absolutely loved the cozy room with a huge shower! Plus, the location was spot on-just a short stroll to the harbour. Had a great time enjoying local dishes at the pub, everything was great.

Our family room was spacious and beautifully furnished, complete with a small fridge and a lovely bay window where we enjoyed our delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly. Plus, the location was perfect for catching the ferry to the Isles of Scilly.

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast!

Parking can be a hassle. The on-site space fills up quickly, leaving you to search for public parking nearby. I experienced a bit of confusion regarding breakfast timing, resulting in an early wake-up without the meal I ordered, frustrating. Room decor feels slightly tired, and the quality of towels seemed a little lower than expected, taking away from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The Dock Inn has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The breakfast served in-room is a lovely touch, although the pillows could be softer. The location is great, close to the train station and harbor. A pleasant experience despite some minor complaints.
